Watched Elvis on the plane. ๐บ ๐ซ
โ
โ
It hit me when Elvis said this. ๐คฏ
โ
โ
It just keeps revolving in my mind.
โ
โ
Especially in Organic Facebook marketing we sometimes get carried away.
โ
โ
Comparing ourselves to others..
โ
โ
๐ โ Marketers who are more experienced
โ
โ
๐ โ Marketers who seem to be more successful
โ
โ
๐Marketers perfectionist Elvisโs rubber legs dance moves.
โ
โ
Comparing us to others does a few things to us.
โ
โ
๐ญ It amplifies, especially for starters, imposter syndrome - while you have a lot to give/teach
โ
โ
๐ญ It makes us copying them (modeling and copying are not the same thing) - which destroys your authenticity (latest when you get into a 1 on 1 conversation)
โ
โ
๐ญ and tears down self confidence
โ
โ
What do you think of this idea? ๐ค
โ
โ
1. Instead of comparing ourselves to others, go home.
โ
โ
2. Metaphorically, go back to who you really are.
โ
โ
3. Embrace who you are and build on your strengths
โ
โ
4. Work on your weaknesses but double down on your strengths
โ
โ
What will happen is that youโll attract folks for who you really are. ๐คฏ
โ
โ
Itโs so much easier to work with customers and lead that resonate who you are and not who you pretend to be.. ๐
โ
โ
Anyhow.. Have a great weekend! :-) ๐ป
I've been passionate about Marketing my whole life. We market everything.
I finished my German University Diploma with a double degree in Business and Engineering with honors.ย
In 2021 I was awarded an Executive MBA with honors from the Quantic School of Business and Technology in Washington/DC

Ohhh and, I'm a marketer by heart. Please expect that each and any link you find in any part of my content is an affiliate link and I may get compensated for my recommendation. Just to be on the save side. I assumed that this is common sense since I'm also teaching this stuff, but my attorney told me that's not the case...ย
